Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Last updated: 26 March 2026
The Speaker Factors ("we", "us", "our") is operated by The Future Factors AI. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, fill in your speaker profile, or contact us. This includes:
- Name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google OAuth or email/password)
- Speaker profile data — bio, talk titles, speaking topics, target audiences, and any other information you enter into your profile
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain The Speaker Factors service
- Personalise AI-generated research, pitch drafts, and recommendations to your specific profile
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
- Improve and develop new features based on how the product is used
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the platform — specifically Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and processes data only as necessary to deliver their service.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
